Knee joint pain

It can be caused by a sudden injury, an overuse injury, or by an underlying condition, such as arthritis. Treatment will vary depending on the cause. Symptoms of knee injury can include pain, swelling, and stiffness.

Related Research studies:

Tennis elbow/radiohomeral bursitis

It is an inflammation of the tendons of the elbow caused by overuse of the muscles of the forearm.

Cervical spondylosis

It is a condition involving changes to the bones, discs, and joints of the neck. These changes are caused by the normal wear-and-tear of aging. With age, the discs of the cervical spine gradually break down, lose fluid, and become stiffer.

Lumbar disc herniation

A common cause of lower back and leg pain is a lumbar ruptured disc or herniated disc. Symptoms of a herniated disc may include dull or sharp pain, muscle spasm or cramping, sciatica, and leg weakness or loss of leg function.

Stiff neck

A stiff neck is typically characterized by soreness and difficulty moving the neck, especially when trying to turn the head to the side.

Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS)

It is a form of arthritis that primarily affects the spine, although other joints can become involved. It causes inflammation of the spinal joints (vertebrae) that can lead to severe, chronic pain and discomfort.

Varicose veins

Twisted, enlarged veins near the surface of the skin. They are most common in the legs and ankles.

Tendovginitis

It is the inflammation of the fluid-filled sheath (called the synovium) that surrounds a tendon. Symptoms of tenosynovitis include pain, swelling and difficulty moving the particular joint where the inflammation occurs.

Fatigue syndrome

A medical condition characterized by long-term fatigue and other symptoms. These symptoms are to such a degree that they limit a person's ability to carry out ordinary daily activities.
